The ACES2030 R&D Programme brings together seven research groups with a long history of research in the field of concentrated solar thermal energy, a RedLab laboratory in the Community of Madrid, a business association and five international companies relevant in the sector.

Partner companies contribute their analytical and advisory capacity to focus research on the market and changing scale. In this way, the Associated Industries bring their knowledge and experience in applied engineering to the modelling of energy systems and systems for hydrogen production through thermochemical cycles. Rioglass Solar is a leader in mirrors for concentrators and Abengoa Energía and Grupo Cobra will cover essential aspects in the advice and analysis of solar field engineering, high temperature solar receivers and proposed thermal storage systems.
