• RESOURCES – PRESENTATION

The collaborative structure in ACES2030 promotes synergy between facilities and laboratories around solar thermal technology in support of the industry’s R&D activities, with the ambition of being the seed of a future Network of unique infrastructures in the Community of Madrid (Platform in Concentrated Solar Systems of Comunidad de Madrid”) and which currently include:

  • Test facilities under real solar or simulated experimental conditions, which are essential for the development of CST technologies in TRL5-6.
  • Laboratories for the synthesis and characterisation of materials for solar reactors and receivers and thermochemical processes.
  • Software and computer simulation capacity in concentrated solar optics, heat transfer and system analysis for the production of electricity, heat and chemical processes.
