Renewable Energy in the Energy Transition

LNEG (Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia) and AEDES (Asociación Española de Energía Solar) are announcing to the technical and scientific community of Iberoamerica, the XVII Iberian Congress and XIII Ibero-American Congress of Solar Energy in Lisbon from 24 to 26 June 2020. The Congress will take place in a year where new goals for Renewable Energies are established, as a result of the commitments of the Paris Agreement, in which Renewable Energies are called to have a fundamental role in the defense of the Planet and the environmental sustainability for future generations. The themes of the Congress, the Organising Committee and the Scientific Committee are presented, as well as the most important dates in the calendar for the presentation of papers and registration.

The Iberian Solar Energy Congress has been held at headquarters in Spain and Portugal since 1982, and has taken place jointly with the Ibero-American Solar Energy Congress in ten of its sixteen editions. It is, therefore, the most important congress with the greatest tradition in the field of solar energy in Spanish and Portuguese languages.
